I’m not lying when I say, hosting an intimate wedding at the Planetarium has been on my wedding planning bucket list for years!

On the 7 November 2020 Leo and Monique made this starry night dream Pop Up Wedding a reality.

I had goosebumps as Monique, in her perfect black wedding dress, walked into the Planetarium dome to Elvis’s hauntingly beautiful “can’t help falling in love with you”, a nebular appearing above her and Leo, her love, standing in the rooms one and only beam of light.

After months of COVID-19 wedding planning delays and curve balls, we celebrated extra hard and I swear there was even more love and gratitude surrounding these two and their nearest and dearest, because of it.

Simple white statements flowers, deep purple tones and some incredibly special star grey orchids made up the flowers for the day as the fairy lights, watery shadows and out of this world intergalactic scenes took center stage on the décor front.

After a spectacular ceremony under the stars, guests joined in for speeches, bubbly and divine cake before being treated to a private star show while the couple took their creative photos.

I knew that when this Planetarium wedding finally happened it would be for AND with some incredibly special people. Leo and Monique, you did not disappoint. Your grace, focus and love through this planning and waiting process was a gift, that we cannot thank you enough for. With all our hearts we wish you a life time of starry nights.

Enjoy some of their special pics,

much love
