Blue sky’s turned grey, It poured, they promised forever and in that moment no one noticed the rain.
Kirsten and Gavin celebrated their summer garden Pop Up Wedding in one of our favorite Johannesburg secret gardens. Beechwood. We had to move the entire ceremony undercover as it alternated between pouring and glorious sunshine all day – in true Joburg summer style.
We focused on locally grown garden roses and a glorious mix of live plants to grow wild and whimsy around our classic print ceremony back drop. Kirsten’s bouquet had a ‘just picked’ feel and we brought bright happy pops of color into their mini wedding cake with pressed flowers.
The raindrops were not the only thing that sparkled that day…. And we feel so lucky to have celebrated this day, this love, this way.
Enjoy some of their special pics,
