If you have had to postpone or cancel your wedding (OR are scared you may have to in the not so distant future) this is especially for you…
Do you want to have a legal, responsible wedding without having to start planning from scratch, loose suppliers you love or the deposits you have already paid?
And do you want this wedding plan B to still be as beautiful and special as your original wedding day plan?
Plan P is your wedding day Plan B, Pop Up wedding style.
The essence of a Pop Up wedding is that we as the Pop Up team choose all of the major elements of your celebration. We bring together, source and pre plan your venue, theme, date and main on the day suppliers (officiant, photographer, cake, florist, planner and host).
Stay with me now… there is a plot twist further down.
Once you have fallen in love with one of these pre planned celebrations you choose your celebration time and get the full venue, décor set up and team to yourself for 2 glorious hours. In which time we get you legally married in a personalised ceremony, surrounded by all of the beauty, infrastructure and décor needed for you and your 20-30 guests.
You then have bubbly, a mini cake, take some family shots (if you want) followed by your couple’s creative shoot. All of this comfortably fits into your 2 hours together and is actually pretty close to a more traditional wedding day timeline.
At the end of these 2 private, focused hours of celebrating the best parts of a traditional wedding with us, you leave, happily married. You can then choose to have an informal reception separate to your Pop Up if you wish.
Here’s that plot twist…
How a plan P – Pop Up offering differs from this is that instead of US choosing your Photographer, Officiant and cake supplier we are encouraging you to bring your own.
WHY?
Because of the covid-19 pandemic we have seen so many couples who had planned bigger weddings having to cancel or postpone their special days. This is both heart breaking for the couples, families and suppliers involved.
The ripples of this are far reaching for EVERYONE.
We are incredibly proud of our government for putting us and our health before anything else and taking these brave steps to flatten the curve and help South Africa cope and recover from this virus.
We personally think Pop Up weddings are and can be the answer for so many couples who now feel lost and unsure of what to do. Who don’t want to start all over again with planning but still desperately want a beautiful, special celebration of their love.
Similarly, suppliers are desperate to keep bookings and deposits to get through this hard time of less work.
Plan P is your wedding day Plan B, Pop Up wedding style and looks after YOU and your suppliers. We still source the venue and set up the décor and infrastructure for your 20-30 guests. BUT NOW we are encouraging more input from our couples on dates that work for them, and for them to bring their already booked suppliers to this Pop Up way of wedding.
This means having a legal, responsible wedding without having to start from scratch, loose suppliers you love or the deposits you have already paid. Win, win and WIN!
We are also stepping in and offering our time, knowledge and service to facilitate the conversations, changes to contracts and plans (basically all that overwhelming admin stuff) attached to rescheduling and getting married this way…
So if you have had to postpone your wedding and can’t or don’t want to do exactly what you originally planned… call us.
If you have had to cancel your wedding and can’t or don’t want to do exactly what you originally planned… call us.
Yes things have changed…finances, people and the way we do things, celebrate things and just basically live will never be the same again BUT that doesn’t mean you don’t deserve your special moment in time to celebrate the start of your marriage.
We are here for this. We are here for you! So please reach out or share with someone who needs it.
much love
Shannon
Hi there,
My name is Shannon Magee 🙂
I emailed but it bounced back for somereasin.
I’m not too sure if you can help me but thought I’d just try anyway.
My wedding was meant to be on 09/05/2020 at Haycroft Farm in Howick, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions with family traveling we have postponed to June 2021.
We would still like to go ahead with an intimate reception/ legal process in the next few months though, with close friends. This would obviously not be on the same scale as the rescheduled wedding but I am struggling to come up with ideas.
Would you have any recommendations?
Our families live abroad so it would just be the bridal party & couples, ourselves & the wedding officiator which would be approximately 15 of us.
Not too sure if you can help but if you have any ideas/ packages, please let me know 🙂
Kind regards
Shannon
